Island Sweat Fitness (ISF) opened its virtual doors on October 10th, 2020 (World Mental Health Day). Here are the accomplishments of ISF while in operation:-

  • Over 120 virtual classes completed

  • A record 114 participants in our virtual Carnival Step Fitness Class by the phenomenal Nina Cooper

  • Two custom ISF Mixes on Sound Cloud curated by DJ Mr. Mejustik #TheHeavyHittersSJs #TeamSocaDJs

  • Corporate Collaborations with Manulife Financial and Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN)

  • Collectively raised over $2000 CND in charity events towards the Ernestine's Women's & Children's Shelter, the St Vincent La Soufrière Volcano Relief, and the Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief

  • Charity Collaborations with other small businesses such as The Hitching Post Craft Co, GETMAD Steps, and Aleshia Ali

  • Featured by Elpizo Counselling Services Magazine Issue 1 - Diverse Women in Health & Wellness, The First Step Page, and The “Wellness & Resiliency in the Black Community” event by Sheridan College

All of this by a small, mental health-focused, Caribbean music-only gym. My heart overflows with gratitude for the love and support received by this unconventional brand. However, some things must come to an end. It was a difficult decision to make however ISF officially stopped offering live classes as of October 2021. On-Demand access to class recordings is still available, see HERE to view.

I remain grateful for everything ISF accomplished and will cherish the memories.

Love, light, and positive vibrations always,
